A lot of people in journalism and in the major press circuits 

have been expressing regrets over how 2020 played out. Well, perhaps it's not all that common, given the expanse of topics that have been making news, but it seems that it sticks out, for me, as a guy who is fraught with all sorts of problematic issues at hand. 

2020 was a good year, I say, however. 

I do some speculative fashion jaunts at stylization takes on imaginative persona, of a marketing sort. My first, and memorable takeaway experience with persona marketing came from an article that I had "saved," rather than simply standard "liked" on Facebook. (It says that it was put out about a week ago, but I know that I had it saved, going on years, now. I'm sure that it was at some point during my multiple personality crisis, of early stages of schizophrenia, in which I'd set this article aside, for the sake of searching for some answers to what had been going on, and for trying to establish some likeness in others, from sources that were discoverable for me. 

Anyways, have a look at the article. Perhaps it's the same, or similar enough context that would remain true to how I had discovered it, on first reading. I found it very compelling and relatable. Before I move on, though, I ought to divulge that the schizophrenia issue has not appreciably subsided, for the most part, since that time, <_< supposing that it had been at some point between now and back up til' 2012, or so, when it had begun (I was a DSM-IV textbook standard onset of schizophrenia, at age 30).

I’d been fortunate in having been a recipient of Unemployment Insurance money and Pandemic and Disaster Award Money, for having been affected directly by the COVID-19 disaster. My latest procurement is the Apple Watch. I’m interested in its platform basis in that it’s marketed as a tool for communications, but more so compellingly, for me, at this point in time, of that it’s an Apple device that’s concerned with the users’ health and well-being. 

And then, if you’d ever been in to working aspirations in to developing on IoT devices (bare chip boards, with embedded circuitry and processing microcontrollers), then you know how the nights on end can be relentless endeavors of discovering and perusing internet literature and forums for a glimmer of hope, short of being reportedly well-dialed in and having successfully SSH’d or provisioned the hardware and accessories appropriately, attained a fully autonomous Internet of Things microcontroller project, co-processor project, Machine Learning, prototype, or embedded device. 

My current “Things” are a mix mash of trying to maintain finery, amidst the shortcomings of small enterprise, in a world of just-burgeoning documentation, coverage, and marketing of a platform-profiteering move in and on topic of the Google Coral platform, which is the current IoT | AIY platform that I’m (trying) to successfully get up and running. I’d been covering it on Twitter. It’s been a whole lot of splotch bum asides and subsequent coming-clean, of that

I’m working on this orthogonal counter-ingress and directionality assertiveness motive of in-home aesthetics and a bit of complement to the great outdoors, of which this locality features the much of on greatness: the jet stream, which, as for the ionic mineral concentrates that I have, purportedly mills the ions and organum matter of the witting participants of such, as well as that of the gross polluters of the nearby and surrounding ecology of the area. Yoipes! MacOS Versions of iPadOS apps are showing up on the App Store.

The transition in to cross-platform apps [iPadOS to macOS] is happening, right now, on the App Store.

Many of us who have been keeping up with developer.apple.com releases and features know that Mac Catalyst is an exciting new feature that was released with Xcode 11, not very long ago.

Now, just this morning, in fact: I started getting releases on the App Store for apps that I had purchased on my former iOS and iPadOS devices.

My MacBook Air is running the latest beta of macOS 11.0 Big Sur, and now iPadOS apps are showing up in the App Store downloads, as prior purchases.

Fans of productivity and pipe organs will rejoice at the macOS presence of apps such as the Strand and Ott Organ Apps by Markus Sigg, as well as LiquidText, for example.

Perhaps these developers had been amongst some of the first to jump in on the Universal App Quick Start Program, recently offered by Apple; or, perhaps, the current Intel-CPU powered devices, with Mac Catalyst, could create the Universal Apps in and of their own capabilities, since Mac Catalyst had been offered with Xcode since version 11 (Xcode 12 is the current transitional | universal app development platform for producing macOS desktop or laptop [in my case, a gold MacBook Air 2020] binaries out of iOS and iPadOS apps - a somewhat different stake in the story on Apple's decisions to move their product lines' CPUs to ARM-powered processors over the next several months and, perhaps, a couple of years, at most).

An exciting start to a new year - plotting my macOS, iPadOS, mobile and development lifestyle budget and subscription allocations.

Having been a former shameless software pirate craigslist enterprise (2007-2012-ish), as well as DRM content torrent downloading aficionado, I must say, once again, for the record, that I fully encourage people who still refuse to pay for their content and app licensing, to become free of their bonds and debts due to the creators of works in digital - few could claim that the merits of the opposition would outsmart the big tech's legal, executive, administrative, surveillance, and counterintelligence departments, altogether. I sure got a Scientology hard time about it, for a significant run of 5 years, and more.

That being said, I now have a much more stringent and disciplined lifestyle (of tech, still) in that I am, in small measures and means, contributing and creating in small developmental tech, IoT, creative, and analytical projects, many; and much to the fulfillment of all hours of most days (of days that are well-to-do in productivity.

Here's what this month's budget for iPigeon.institute's January 2020 plans for the roadmap, affinity, and content distribution of efforts and capabilities will extend unto.

The details of my proposed budgeting for my creative, recreational, development, connectivity, and financials (credit and loans), subscriptions, Human Resources and outreach marketing, design, cloud platform, and MDM (Multi-Device Management) efforts. I have $221 to work with, starting on the 2nd of each month.

I was a bit torn, as to who, where and why I would [might] allocate this largest chunk of payment towards, here; being Adobe's Creative Cloud Suite offerings, at individual retail price of $52.99, versus a Jeux d'orgues virtual instrument pipe organ, a fine suite of offerings in this category, by Markus Sigg, who offers some of the sampled organ instruments for free. The larger spread of octaves and samples are for the paid apps.

The app supports wireless MIDI, virtual MIDI, background operation and recording to WAV/M4A files.
